Specsavers Carlisle has become an Associate Partner of Carlisle United for the 2026/27 season. The deal strengthens local business support for the club as it competes in the National League.

Yvonne Ugbugba, the Specsavers Carlisle Ophthalmic Director, expressed her delight at the agreement. "We’re delighted to have agreed a partnership with Carlisle United for the 2026/27 season," she said.

Ewan Wood, Carlisle United's Lottery and Advertising Manager, welcomed the new backer. "We're delighted to welcome Specsavers Carlisle as a new Associate Partner for the 2026/27 season," Wood stated. The partnership covers the full campaign, with Specsavers providing professional eye care and hearing services from its city centre location.

The announcement comes as the team prepares for its next match. Carlisle, currently 16th in the National League with 10 points from nine games, host Woking at Brunton Park on Saturday.

Their recent form shows one win, two draws and two defeats from the last five outings, a sequence of LDDLW. The side will be looking to build on a 4-2 victory over Scunthorpe from late August as they aim to climb the standings. The latest result was a 1-0 away defeat to Eastleigh last Saturday.

This new local partnership provides off-field backing as the squad focuses on the challenge ahead. The club's full squad details are available online. The next fixture against 18th-placed Woking takes place on 26 September.
