The team's defence was solid, with 51 goals conceded, but the departure of Terell Thomas and Aaron Hayden has left a gap at centre-back. Bevis Mugabi is the main senior alternative, but the team may need to bring in another strong candidate to partner Morgan Feeney.
The goalkeeper position is also a priority, with Gabe Breeze needing an understudy or a competitor for the first-team spot. The team may look to bring in a new goalkeeper to challenge Breeze or provide backup.
As the summer transfer window approaches, Carlisle United will be looking to strengthen their squad and build on their strong season. The team will be looking to make key signings and prepare for the new season, with the goal of improving on their 3rd place finish and challenging for the title.
